Friedrichshafen. (xv) Ham Radio, the most important show for radio amateurs in Europe, was the prelude to the final spurt to the Amateur Radio World Championship in Germany for the WRTC organizing team. During the three days of the fair, information was distributed to many interested visitors at the WRTC stand. Visitors were also encouraged to participate and this effort was successful with additional volunteer helpers joining there. On the stage of the exhibition hall Chris Janßen, DL1MGB, and Michael Höding, DL6MHW, presented in words and pictures the status of the preparation processes in hand  for the WRTC. The interest level was consistently high, hardly a chair remained unoccupied. Also encouraging was the interest of the many volunteer helpers who gathered at the WRTC stand to discuss and clarify final questions about the technology in use and general organization. Manfred Wolf DJ5MW, a participant from the 2014 World Championships was available at the WRTC stand to answer all visitors questions. Concurrently the organizing team used the Hamfest weekend to clarify organizational details. The World Championship for radio amateurs starts in just 35 days!
